Matt and his family have had the pleasure of being a part of the South Florida community since the late 70's.  Being a "native", Matt grew up in the Broward County School System - both public and private.  Matt and his brothers all attended high school at Cardinal Gibbons in East Fort Lauderdale, where Matt is now a member of the Coral Ridge Country Club.  Currently living in the Downtown Fort Lauderdale, Matt has become a member of the Tower Club - one of Fort Lauderdale's longest running private organizations. 

Matt's parents are originally from the Chicago area, but South Florida has been a part of their lives for more than 30 years.  Younger brother, David Olsen, is a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Finance. David has been in the Financial Securities industry since 2004, formerly with Morgan Stanley and Northwestern Mutual.  David currently is with 1031 Alternatives Group out of Boca Raton, FL.   Matt's older brother, Eric Olsen, is a graduate of the United States Military Academy - West Point with a degree in Systems Engineering.  Eric has achieved great levels of success, both academically and professionally.  He's had the opportunity to play football at West Point (Division IA) and with the Colts organization (NFL).   Eric has served as an Officer in the Iraq War, while finishing up his MBA.  Eric and his wife Liz now live in the Houston area working in the medical device industry.
